After acquiring the St. Louis Bandits membership in the North American Hockey League, the Minnesota Wilderness are setting up shop in Cloquet.

It will be the state's third NAHL team. They will join the Austin Bruins and another new entry into the league, the Minnesota Magicians based in Richfield.

For the past three years, the Wilderness have competed in the Superior International Junior Hockey League, a Canadian-based Tier II Junior League. The Wilderness have won the last three SIJHL titles.

The Wilderness will play their home games out of 2,200-seat Northwood's Credit Union Arena.
