The Casey Tibbs South Dakota Rodeo Center in Fort Pierre will dedicate its Johnny Smith Memorial Sculpture Garden at 1:30 p.m. June 1.
Also, a bronze statue of five-time world champion saddle bronc rider Billy Etbauer will be unveiled as the centerpiece. Etbauer, who was raised near Miller in the Ree Heights area, will be in attendance, along with the artist, Belle Fourche rancher and former champion bull rider T.R. Chytka.
Other events that day include museum tours, a steak feed and the 20th annual Casey Tibbs Match of Champions Bronc Ride.
