The South Dakota Amateur Baseball Association has appointed new commissioners.
Among those appointed by SDABA president Dale Weber include Randy Sabers of Salem in District 4, and Scott Healy of Aberdeen for an A commissioner, while Brock Greenfield of Clark was re-appointed for District 1.
Gary Croon of Dell Rapids and Mike Held of Huron are retiring commissioners.
Herb C. Sundall of Kennebec was re-elected secretary-treasurer.
The 2013 state tournament will be Aug. 7-18 in Sioux Falls. The 25th anniversary teams will be recognized at the event. Aberdeen defeated Salem 10-9 in 1988.
