Cold temperatures and a snowy field have forced Northern State to move three home softball doubleheaders to more southern climates.
The Wolves (8-10) were scheduled to host MSU-Moorhead in their first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games on Tuesday but temperatures in the 20s forced a change in plans. The doubleheader will be moved to Bowden Field in Sioux Falls on Thursday beginning at 1 p.m.
Northern State will return to NSIC action on Friday against Augustana College at Bowden Field in Sioux Falls with a 1 p.m. doubleheader. NSU will continue conference play on Saturday traveling to Wayne State for a noon doubleheader.
