The North American Hockey League has announced its Divisional Stars of the Week. Aberdeen Wings forward Erik Baskin is the recipient for the Central Division.
Baskin scored five goals in a pair of 4-1 victories, including a hat trick last Friday against Coulee Region. He then added two more goals on Saturday, including the game-winner. In 55 games this season Baskin has produced 23 points.
"Erik was our most consistent player this weekend. He scored very big goals and was extremely reliable defensively," said Wings coach Travis Winter. "He is improving every week and is turning into a very good two-way hockey player for us. He is playing with a lot of confidence right now and he should be."
