A pair of area players helped the Dakota Wesleyan women's basketball team upset No. 2 Concordia on Sunday.
Sully Buttes graduate Elizabeth Lamb had 10 points and Summit graduate Brittany Hills had eight points as the Tigers defeated Concordia 72-61 at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.
The upset over No. 2 Concordia College is the first win over a top-5 team since Feb. 11, 2009, when the Dakota Wesleyan women beat No. 3 Northwestern at the Palace.
The Dakota Wesleyan women, who are receiving votes in the NAIA, are now 10-1 at home this season.
