Northern State wrestling coach Pat Timm has announced the signing of Cheney, Wash., native Cameron Schlotter to a national letter of intent to enroll in classes and join the Wolves' wrestling program in 2013-14.
Schlotter is a 5-foot-9, 195-pound wrestler who earned First Team All-Great Northern League honors for the CHS Blackhawks last season. Schlotter racked up a record of 37-5 en-route to the honor. He was also a Second Team All-GNL defensive lineman for the Blackhawks.
Schlotter is the son of former NSU wrestler Wade Schlotter, who serves as the Cheney high school head wrestling coach.
We are excited to sign Cameron, Timm said. He helps us add some much needed depth at the 184-pound weight class. He is a very hardworking individual who I feel has a great upside and will fit in well with our program.
