ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. - Crown College scored 27 unanswered points to turn back Presentation College 41-20 in non-conference football action Saturday afternoon.

The Storm pulled away from a 7-7 tie in the second quarter and took control with two scores at the end of the first half and the first two touchdowns of the second half.

While the Saints' offense came to life late in the contest, the PC squad had a difficult time sustaining drives on offense and getting its defense off the field when Crown had the ball.

"We need to get rid of the nerves and get rid of all the other things that are holding us back," said PC coach Andy Carr. "We need to execute."

The Saints were hampered with four turnovers and also had several penalties that either slowed their own drives or extended Crown's possessions.

"We have to be more disciplined within ourselves," Carr noted. "We had some shots to make some plays. Some of them we did and some of them we didn't."

Stephen Braswell passed for 162 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead the PC offense. He connected with Matthew James on a 34-yard scoring strike in the second quarter and with Jalanni James on a 20-yard TD pass in the fourth quarter.

Keenan Honore had the other Saints' score on a 50-yard reverse.

Presentation dropped to 1-5 with the setback. The Saints head to Rapid City, where they will face South Dakota School of Mines at 1 p.m. MST Saturday.

"We will continue to do the things that we're doing to build this football program," Carr said. "It certainly will be a tough Division II program. We want to challenge ourselves with our schedule. We have a goal of where we want to be and we're going to continue to work towards it."
