NORTHVILLE -- Northville used a late-game rally to push past Groton 9-6 in amateur baseball Thursday night.
Tied at five going to the bottom of the sixth inning, Northville outscored the visitors 4-1 the rest of the way. Alex Bauer, Clayton Nutting and Taylor Morsching collected three hits each to lead a 14-hit attack for the hosts, including a double and home run for Nutting, who drove in three runs. Bauer added a double and two RBIs. A.J. Overby and Lane Myer contributed two hits each.
Heath Geidt powered the Groton attack, slapping a pair of home runs and driving in four runs. Ryan Delzer added three singles.
Northville will face Aberdeen Circus Sports Bar at Fossum Field Monday night for one game at 6 p.m.
