REDFIELD - Early run production helped the Redfield Pheasants to a 12-5 amateur baseball victory over Aberdeen Circus Sports Bar Tuesday.
The hosts put up eight runs over the first three innings and never looked back. Jared Kiehn, Mitchell Babcock, Drew Dickhaut and Nate Binger tallied two hits each for Redfield, and Sutton Masat drove in a pair of runs. Babcock and Kiehn each had a double in Redfield's 12-hit attack.
Starting pitcher Tommy Gregg threw six innings, allowing five hits while striking out seven with no walks. Redfield improved to 11-5 with the win and will host Northville Sunday for a 6 p.m. doubleheader.
