A Sioux Falls couple successfully defended their title at the 39th Annual Husband and Wife Championships. Brett and Jenny Coluccio won for the second straight year at the SDGA tournament that finished Sunday at Lakeview Golf Course in Watertown. The Coluccios fired a 144 score to win by two strokes.
Rob and Delnita Mendoza of Eagle Butte carded a 175 for fourth in the third flight.
The third Annual Senior Husband and Wife Championships also wrapped up on Sunday at Lakeview Golf Course. Bert and Cindy Olson carded a 156 to become the first couple with both open (2003) and senior (2013) husband and wife titles. Charles and Rebecca Peacock of Mobridge shot a 172 for a seventh place finish in the first flight. John and Linda Knox of Onida totaled a 172 for fifth place in the second flight.
