WRESTLING: Meuleners, Storley lose twice; out of competition at World Team Trials

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Two wrestlers with ties to the area lost twice on Saturday at the U.S. World Team Trials.

 Logan Storley, a Webster native who wrestles for the University of Minnesota, lost by technical fall 8-0 to Clayton Foster in the opening round of freestyle wrestling at 84 kilograms. He lost by another technical fall 7-0 to Austin Trotman in the consolation round.

 Matt Meuleners, a two-time national champion for Northern State, opened the tournament at 120 KG with a 9-2 technical fall win over Kyle Massey of the New York Athletic Commission. Tyrell Fortune recorded a 7-0 technical fall win over Meuleners in a semifinal match. Meuleners lost 6-1 to Tony Nelson of the Minnesota Storm in a consolation semifinal.
