Three couples from the area are playing in South Dakota Golf Association events this weekend at Lakeview Golf Course in Watertown.
Rob and Delnita Mendoza concluded Saturday's first round of the 39th annual Husband and Wife Championship with a score of 88, and are tied for fifth place in the third flight.
At the Senior Husband and Wife Championships, Charles and Rebecca Peacock of Mobridge are tied for fifth in the first flight with an 84, and John and Linda Knox of Onida are fourth in flight two with an 86. Both tournaments conclude today.
