Bruins overcome two-goal deficit to defeat Wings

 Austin overcame a two-goal deficit with a flurry of scoring and went on to a 5-3 North American Hockey League victory over the Aberdeen Wings Saturday at the Odde Ice Center.

 With 16:51 to go in the second period, the Wings led 3-1 on Justin Parizek's goal, assisted by Michael Prochno. That was the last goal the Wings would score as the Bruins closed the period with three straight goals, including converting on a power play with two seconds left in the period.

 Cody Dixon added a power play goal for Austin in the third period to conclude the scoring. The Bruins, who lead the Central division with a 10-2-1 mark, had a 30-26 advantage in total shots with Jason Pawloski turning away 23 shots.

 Aberdeen's other goals were scored by Zach Kraft in the opening period and Tyler Cisar in the second period. The Wings had Marcus Zelzer in net, who stopped 25 shots. Aberdeen fell to 4-9-0 with the loss.

 The Wings will host Brookings for two home games Thursday and Friday at the Odde Ice Center.
