Three new members of the South Dakota Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Hall of Fame were inducted in March.
Butch Bachman (deceased), Tom Oster of Volga and Bob Winter of Yankton were honored at the spring athletic director's conference luncheon in Pierre. Candidates are selected for their national, state and local involvement in the SDIAAA.
Bachman graduated from Isabel High School and Northern State (1972). He held positions in Watertown, Hanson, Gayville-Volin, Tri-Valley and Dakota Wesleyan during his career.
Oster graduated from Ethan High School (1979) and Northern State (bachelor's and master's degrees). He has worked at Frederick, Avon and now superintendent at Sioux Valley.
Winter, who has now retired, graduated from Wessington Springs High School, Yankton College (1963) and has a master's degree from the University of South Dakota. He spent 47 years at Yankton as teacher, coach and administrator.
