The Region 3A girls' basketball championship between Madison and Sioux Falls Christian has been rescheduled from Thursday to 3 p.m. Saturday at Tea Area High School.
A SFC sophomore guard, 16-year-old Alyssa Vollmer, was killed in an automobile accident west of Sioux Falls on Saturday. Also killed were her parents James and Julie and 13-year-old brother Caleb.
There will be a prayer service for the Vollmer family on Thursday night, with the funeral scheduled for Friday.
