A.J. Reid had a goal and an assist, while Aaron Nelson turned away 49 shots as Team Dakota posted a 3-1 victory over Great Lakes at the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament on Monday.
Team Dakota trailed 1-0 after the first period, but a goal from Brandon Wahlin tied the game and Reid's goal put Team Dakota ahead for good. Scott Dornbrock added an insurance goal in the third period.
Justin Parizek, Peter Krieger and Jake Horton of the Aberdeen Wings are members of Team Dakota, which will face the NAHL U18 Selects team today. The event concludes tomorrow.
