BISMARCK, N.D. -- The Aberdeen Wings could not solve the league's leading goalie Friday and dropped a 3-0 decision to the Bismarck Bobcats.
Bismarck goalie Aaron Nelson, whose 1.76 goals against average leads the North American Hockey League, stopped all 29 shots that he faced. Offensively, the Bobcats received goals from three different players, including a power-play score by Cory Chapman for the game's final goal. Aberdeen went 0-for-7 in power-play chances, while the hosts converted on one of six.
The Wings will host Bismarck tonight at the Odde Ice Center. Game time is 7:15 p.m.
