The Knights, who improved to 12-4 with the win, received 18 points each from Matt Rohrbach, who scored the 1,000th point of his career, and Sam Palmer. Rohrbach came into the game needing 17 to reach the milestone.
Aberdeen coach Dave Palmer said that Niewenhuis had a solid night and his teammates were getting him the ball every chance they got.
"Our advantage was in the post," said "The kids continued to find him with the ball. He just kind of overwhelmed them with his size and kids set him up really well. He didn't take shots that were hard, they were all really nice and easy."
Eureka-Bowdle's Josh Raile matched Niewenhuis' point total, scoring 30 of his own. Tyler Wipf added 18 points and Austin Weiszhaar finished with a dozen for the Patriots.
"At times, we were happy with how we played defense," Palmer said. "They have a couple of kids that broke us down. That Raile is a good player."
Palmer noted that Rohrbach has fit into the Christian system well and made the most of his opportunities.
"He has been in a good situation, and got an opportunity to play young," Palmer said. "He works hard at his game and good things come to kids who work hard.
Aberdeen Christian will play Wolsey-Wessington at 2:30 this afternoon in Wolsey. Eureka-Bowdle will play Strasburg-Zeeland at Zeeland today.
