VALLEY CITY, N.D. -- No. 19 Valley City State pulled away from Presentation College on Thursday in college men's basketball action.
The Saints lost the game 69-55 to the NAIA Vikings. Presentation College led by six points with 16 minutes, 21 seconds left in the first half. However, the Saints trailed 33-26 at halftime.
The Vikings then outscored Presentation 36-29 in the second half en route to the win. The Saints trailed by as much as 20 points midway through the second half. Gus Kueber tossed in a game-high 20 points to go along with nine rebounds for Valley City. Sekani Milligen added 16 points for Valley City.
Chaz Haymond paced the Saints with 19 points, while Anthony Hendricks added 12 points and seven rebounds. Darrell Farr added 10 points and eight boards. PC made only three of its 16 three-point attempts.
Presentation College (4-4) will play at Oglala Lakota College on Saturday in Kyle.
