COLLEGE BASKETBALL: TBC men fall to Jamestown

Jamestown overcame a halftime deficit and went on to a 77-61 men's college basketball victory over Trinity Bible on Tuesday.

 The Jimmies trailed 32-28 at the intermission and went on to outscore the Lions 49-29 in the second half. Jamestown connected on just two of 15 three-point attempts in the first half, but hit four of nine from long range after halftime.

 Jamestown placed three players in double figures, led by Mark Hoge with 23 points. Davon Thomas and Breshion Tucker added 17 and 10 points to the JC total. Jared Sutherland collected nine rebounds.

 For the Lions, Mikey Rosario netted 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Trinity Bible had a 42-40 edge in rebounding.

  Jamestown improved to 6-1 with the win, while TBC fell to 4-5 on the season. The Lions will host Faith Baptist of Ankeny, Iowa, Friday in a doubleheader at Ellendale.
