Final cross country polls released

Defending state champions Ipswich girls and Cheyenne-Eagle Butte boys lead their respective classes in the final poll of the season conducted by the South Dakota high school cross country coaches.

 CEB tops the Class A boys, while Ipswich is first in the Class B girls. Other area rated teams include Aberdeen Central, which is fourth in Class AA girls; Potter County, which is fourth in Class B girls; and Dupree, which is second in Class B boys.

 The state meet is set for Oct. 20 in Huron.
