The Northern State football team (1-0) will play the University of Sioux Falls (0-1) at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Bob Young Field in Sioux Falls.
- The game will be on KDLT-TV. KDLT sports director Mark Ovenden was in Aberdeen Monday doing interviews for the weekend broadcast, including one with NSU coach Tom Dosch that is scheduled for halftime. Other things to know:
- NSU will be looking for its first season-opening win on the road since 2000 when the Wolves beat Wisconsin-Stevens Point 28-21.
- The last time the teams met was 1959, when NSU won 32-0. NSU leads the all-time series 11-2.
- There will be a fan bus, for NSU students only, leaving the Barnett Center at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Cost is $10, which includes a game ticket and food at the alumni tailgate event. Details: 605-626-3007.

- USF's record is 38-1 at Bob Young Field. The Cougars' only loss was to Washburn University, 33-17 on Sept. 1, 2011.
