Eagle Butte native Tate Widow has announced his intention to play for the Presentation College men's basketball team next season, according to PC head coach Jeremy Reigle.
Widow, a 6-foot guard, averaged 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal per game last season for Dupree High School. He was named a team captain for the Dupree squad that posted a 24-2 record and a third-place finish at the State B Tournament held in Aberdeen.
As a junior, Widow averaged nine points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal per game while Dupree went 22-4 on the season and finished seventh at the state tournament. Widow earned All-District 15B honors this season.
