The Eastern Coteau Conference announced its basketball honors this week after experiencing a delay in its voting.
Co-MVPs for the girls were Summit seniors, twin sisters and Augustana recruits Logan and Presley O'Farrell. They led the Eagles to the conference title along with fellow first-team all-conference selection Shenia Steinocker. The other first team slots were secured by senior Mackenzie Eggers of Rosholt and junior Mikaela Fischer of Waverly-South Shore.
Landon Hammer of Wilmot was the boys' MVP. He and fellow Wilmot senior Austin Hulscher led the Wolves to the conference title in a three-way tie with Rosholt and Tiospa Zina. They were on the first team with seniors Adam Krueger of Rosholt, Patrick Nanaeto of Tiospa Zina and Phil Bunkowske of Great Plains Lutheran. See all the teams in today's Scoreboard.
