Moccasin Creek Country Club in Aberdeen will host the second annual Dean Shortridge Day for Junior Golf on May 10.

The entry fee of $50 includes dinner on May 9 at 6:30 p.m. followed by a Calcutta auction in addition to the golf, a cart and warm-up golf balls on the day of the tourney. The four-person teams can make their own starting times and will count two net best balls and one gross best ball per hole. Moccasin Creek Country Club is donating all the golf expenses and prizes. All proceeds will go to support junior golf in memory of Dean Shortridge, who died in January 2012. He came to Aberdeen in 1949 and worked as a golf professional at Aberdeen Country Club and MC3. Shortridge retired in 1985.

The tournament is open to all players wanting to support junior golf.
