Malcolm Seals of Anoka, Minn., has verbally committed to play for the Northern State men's basketball team.

Seals is a 6-foot-1 point guard that played for the Minnesota Heat, which is the same AAU club that produced fellow incoming recruit Dan Becken of Centennial, Minn. Seals averaged 15.6 points per game this past season for Anoka. He had a 32-point outing in February vs. Blaine, Minn.

"He is a 'pass first' point guard, who is really good at getting into the lane and creating," Heat director Willie Vang said about Seals.

Seals is the sixth recruit for the Wolves' upcoming freshmen class. He joins Becken, Carter Evans of Rochester, Minn., Jeff Probert of Prior Lake, Minn., D.J. Pollard of St. Louis Park, Minn., and Tanner Heiser of Watertown.
