A "Raising Champions" Community Sports Forum will take place at 7 p.m. Friday at Gloria Dei Church located at 5500 East 57th Street (57th and Sycamore) in Sioux Falls. The keynote speaker is former NFL All-Pro and transformational coach, Joe Ehrmann.
"Raising Champions" aims to equip parents, coaches and fans to use the platform of sports in a positive way to prepare athletes for a greater purpose beyond the playing field.
The forum features Ehrmann, former Baltimore Colts and Detroit Lions player. Parents, coaches, fans and athletes of all levels of sports are invited to attend. Child care will be provided for children under 12 years old. General admission is free. Reserved and group seating are available by contacting the South Dakota Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
