DES MOINES, Iowa - Webster graduate Logan Storley has advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division I wrestling tournament.
The Minnesota sophomore picked up a pair of wins on Thursday and will wrestle in the quarterfinals today of the 174-pound division. Storley (27-3) defeated Bryce Hammond of Cal State-Bakersfield by a 3-1 decision in the first round. Storley then picked up a 9-1 major decision win over Matt Mougin of Northern Illinois in the next round.
Storley will wrestle Michael Evans of Iowa in the quarterfinals today. Nebraska wrestler and Wagner graduate Robert Kokesh is also wrestling in the 174-pound division. He will wrestle Josh Asper of Maryland in his quarterfinal match today.
